Hello from a long lost blogger!!

I've been so lazy with my blog!

I'm embarrassed how long it has been since my last post ... 2 months!

WOW!

Time really does fly!

Especially summer time!

I was away for a number of weeks in Zakynthos and mainland Greece on holiday & visiting friends, then in England for a while & no excuses, I just neglected my blog on my return!

I guess I don't spend as much time inside or on the computer in the summer ... but now I am back and excited about catching up on what everyone has been up to this summer!

I will post summer pics sometime, but for now, here's a picture I took today which made me laugh .... poor Daisy was anxious to get outside...until she saw it was wet!

So here she is enjoying the view from inside :)

A wardrobe I wish to steal...

This is a completely random post but thought I would go ahead with it anyway :)

As you have probably picked up by now, I love everything California

The place

The houses

The beaches

The weather

and...

The clothes

I love the laid back beach look

I love Hollister/Abercombie etc etc but in the UK they are unbelievably priced!!

Anyway, I recently came across a wardrobe I would LOVE!

It seems you either love her or hate her

It's Kristin Cavallari off the Hills

Personally I just love her style

And I defiantly love the shoes she wears!

One year ago today...

I was getting married!

To my best friend!

I can't believe how fast this year has gone!

Today we're going back to the hotel we married in as our anniversary treat!

Welcome to our Garden

We've been trying to sort out our garden for the past couple of months...

It was just put down to seed when we moved in so we had nothing to work with.

It started out like this

Right now it is like this
(You probably only see grass this green at this time of year in Ireland) :)

We're currently is sectioning off our garden to make the seat area more of a 'hideaway' ...

We finally got our little patio area finished for our seat!

And our planters arrived eventually :)

I just bought the little basket this week - I got it from T K Maxx... I found these campanulas in a garden centre & thought they would be perfect in the basket - I think they are such pretty colours!

We still have soo much to do & we don't have a plan it all just kind of happens... who knows what will appear next...

For now, it is great just to be able to enjoy it, in-between the rain showers that is!!!

A peak inside a Malibu Beach House

Last year, Hello Magazine did a photo-shoot with Eva Longoria at her beach house in Malibu!

I had to save the issue cos I love the house so much!

I love how it has an elegant shabby chic look.

...to one of my besties...the lovely Gayle... AND guess what...its my birthday too!

she's not a blogger (yet) but she's one of my fave people to go thrift shopping with & is a fantastic artist so I'm trying to persuade her :)

here we are last summer enjoying the sunny weather on the north coast!

This weekend is a bank holiday here in Northern Ireland & as I'm in the property trade I get a whole week!! :) YAY!

Summery Days in Maghaberry!

The weather here in the UK is unpredictable to say the least!

Maybe that's why its the number 1 topic of conversation...!?!

Yesterday started with gale force winds and rain .... by afternoon it was sunny, like really hot - sunbathing weather!

Thursday is my day off, so I was chillaxing in the garden & making the most of the sunshine...

I love summer!

It was my husbands birthday last week & we had a bbq...I was SO busy I didn't get taking any pictures :(

Hate it when that happens!
